Poland’s Iga Swiatek defeated Belinda Bencic by 6-2,6-0 in just over an hour, delivering 26 winners. She will face off against Anisimova in the championship match. The women’s final is now set as Swiatek is aiming for her first Wimbledon title against Anisimova, making her Grand Slam debut on the Centre Court.
As Wimbledon advances into its final stretch, all eyes turn to the men’s semi-finals on Friday, where defending champion Carlos Alcaraz appears to maintain his dominance. The Spanish second seed faces American Taylor Fritz in the first Centre Court clash. Alcaraz, seeking his third straight Wimbledon trophy and sixth Grand Slam in total, has become stronger with each match. -
