Tears, Triumph, and 18 Years of Wait: RCB’s first IPL title triggers emotional scenes

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) created history at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on June 2 when they won their maiden IPL title after a long wait of 18 years. In a thrilling finale, RCB beat Punjab Kings (PBKS) by six runs, making a nail-biting finish. What followed was a lot of emotions flowing on the ground, not just from the players but fans and family members as well. One of the most heartfelt scenes that also quickly went viral on the internet was, when Virat Kohli broke down with tears of happiness and hugged Anushka Sharma after the win.
