As Kolkata Knight riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad gear up for the high-octane final of IPL 2024 at MA Chidambaram Stadium on May 26, both captains Shreyas Iyer (KKR) and Pat Cummins (SRH) shared some light moments at the Chennai beach on Saturday. From getting clicked in a boat to an auto-rickshaw, both skippers were all smile ahead of the Chepauk showdown. Both KKR and SRH have won the title twice. Both these team finished number 1 and 2 in the league stage of the tournament. On Friday, SRH outclassed RR in Qualifier 2 to make way to the grand finale. In case SRH win this tournament, it would be the third time Orange Army clinching the title under and Australian captaincy. On the other hand, Shreyas Iyer has a unique IPL record. He is the only captain in the history of IPL to represent two teams in the final. While in 2020, he was captaining Delhi Capitals, whereas in 2024, he is the skipper of KKR.
