Judwaa 2 box office collection: With his latest release Judwaa 2 on its way into the Rs 100 cr club before the end of its opening week, Varun Dhawan has emerged as a Bollywood megastar. Judwaa 2 has been directed by David Dhawan and it hit the silver screen on September 29, until now the film has earned Rs 92.02 cr. The first day of the film went great with its earning at Rs 16.10 crore and emerging as one of the Biggest Openers of 2017. According to Bollywood Hungama, this was Varun Dhawan's 9th film and surprisingly, all his films have managed to be a commercial success. The report further states that most of the trade experts agree that Varun Dhawan is at a different level now. While talking about Judwaa 2, leading distributor Rajesh Thadani said, "The kind of collections that Judwaa 2 is generating and the kind of craze that he has had on the audiences, it is very obvious that he is the next superstar. Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017): This movie, which features Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan in the lead role, hit theatres on March 10, 2017. The film earned Rs 12.25 crore on its opening day, Rs 43.05 cr by the end of its opening weekend, Rs 73.66 cr by the end of week 1 and Rs 116.68 crore was its lifetime collection. The film earned Rs 11.05 crore on its opening day, Rs 37.32 cr by the end of its opening weekend, Rs 36.31 cr by the end of week 1 and its lifetime collection was Rs 50.07.
