Akshay Kumar in an interaction with Deccan Chronicle said, “I can’t wait to see superstar’s Kabali. I heard that lots of people have already started requesting for leave on the day of the release! I also came to know that fans wake up as early as 4 am to witness their beloved idol on the big screen. Even on the sets of 2.O, I hear the Kabali ringtone everywhere! This is unbelievable. I really wish I were in Chennai on the day of Kabali’s release”.

Well, Akshay doesn't have to wait for Kabali release date to find out what Rajinikanth really means to his fans. All he has to do is hit the streets and start walking. And, at every corner he will see the man's face plastered on walls in posters and cut-outs, on cars, buses and other modes of transport, not to mention stickers on every available space! Indeed, an overkill, but that is exactly what a mania is supposed to be all about, isn't it?
