JEE Main 2018: The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main examination application process is all set to begin on December 1. The exam is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) every year as the first process of admission to top technical institutions across India. The official notification about JEE Main 2018 examination was released earlier by CBSE at jeemain.nic.in. Students who wish to take part in the exam that will be conducted on April 8 next year can fill in the application form as soon as the application process commences. There is no printed application form for JEE (Main). Candidates need to ensure that their eligibility as per the criteria laid down for JEE (Main), JEE (Advanced) and participating State Institutions (as applicable).

WAPCOS recruitment 2017: WAPCOS limited, a mini ratna of the Government of India, has announced vacancies for the posts of engineer for its ongoing projects at Haldia on wapcos.gov.in. Candidates who are interested and eligible can now apply sending their CVs or resume in prescribed proforma along with photocopies of documents in support of Date of birth, Qualification, Experience, and Proof of category etc. in case of candidate belonging with the reserved category, as per the official notification. WAPCOS limited has said that the number of posts may vary as per requirement of projects. The last date of accepting the application form is December 6, 2017.

UPTET Result 2017 date: The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) is likely to release the results for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UP-TET) today at upbasiceduboard.gov.in. Candidates who appeared for the exam can visit the website to check their results, once the link has been activated by the board. The exam was conducted on October 15 in two shifts– the first one for teachers of classes 1 to 5 and the other for the teachers of class 6 and 8. The UPTET 2017 examination comprised of objective type questions. While the application process for the exam had begun on August 25 and it closed on September 8, 2017. Contractual teachers employed in Uttar Pradesh also were eligible to appear for the UPTET to claim eligibility for the post of teachers in primary schools. Board exam 2018: Its almost the end of the year and the board exam season is just around the corner. Students who are prepping for their class 10th and 12th board examination, need to know that this year in order to bring all the criteria followed by all school examination boards at par, the minimum marks needed are being decreased. This information has come as both good news and a relief for the students as now they can perform in the exams with a relaxed mindset. Recently, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) had announced that it was decreasing its minimum passing marks as per other school boards. SSC constable recruitment 2017: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the admit cards for the candidates who have applied for the posts of temporary constables (executive) – male and female in Delhi police. The call letters can be downloaded from the official website of the commission. Candidates can visit SSC’s official website sscer.org or the they can also visit the official website of Delhi Police, delhipolice.nic.in to download the admit cards.The admit card has been released for candidates of Southern region, Madhya Pradesh region, North Western region, Eastern region, North Eastern region and Central region. The admit card of the remaining regions is expected to be released soon. The examination will be held from December 5 to December 8, 2017. Staff Selection Commission will conduct the exams for 4772 vacancies in Delhi Police which comprises 3151 male candidates and 1571 female candidates.
