Swachhta Ranking 2017: HRD minister Prakash Javadekar today announced 'Swachhta' Ranking 2017 for Higher Education Institutes at an event held at the Banquet hall in Hotel Ashok. A total of 3500 institutions took part in the Swachhta Ranking 2017 out of which best 25 institutions were selected under 4 categories for Award, according to a tweet by the Ministry of HRD. Firstly 174 institutions were shortlisted out of 3500, and finally 25 best institution were selected out of the 174 institutions. The ranking has been done on the basis of multiple categories incuding – cleanliness standards, cleaning systems, waste disposal methods, greenery in the institute campus, and campus accessibility.
