AAP govt running away from its electoral promises, says BJP: </br><br> Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) executive committee today passed a resolution condemning the AAP government for "running away from its electoral promises" and creating "political ruckus" to divert attention from its failures. Presenting the resolution before the executive committee at its meeting here, BJP MLA Vijendra Gupta said, "They (AAP government) are creating controversies to create an alibi for their failures in fulfilling promises." Later, briefing the media about the meeting, Delhi BJP president Satish Upadhyay said, "The AAP government is doing everything except governance. <br>Focus on governance, BJP's 'friendly advice' to AAP's Arvind Kejriwal</br> Taking a jibe at Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal for what it described as his knack of picking up fights with everyone, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had a word of "friendly" advice for him. "Arvind Kejriwalji, let me give you an uncalled-for friendly advice. Governance is serious business," said Union Minister and senior BJP leader, Ravi Shankar Prasad. The AAP chief fights with his own party and is also at loggerheads with the Delhi Lt Governor Najeeb Jung, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, said Prasad. Congress blasts Narendra Modi govt for clipping Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP govt wings: </br><br> Congress today slammed the Centre over its notification specifying the Delhi Lt Governor's jurisdiction, and said not allowing Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government to decide on transfer and postings of officers is to "negate the people's mandate". "GOI (Government of India) must ensure the right of the CM duly elected by the people should not be curbed if NDA/BJP believes in cooperative federalism," Singh said on micro-blogging site Twitter. "I am not a great admirer of Kejriwal but not allowing the CM to decide on transfer and postings of officers is to negate the people's mandate," Singh said. The Congress leader's remarks came hours after the Home Ministry issued a gazette notification stating that it was not mandatory for the LG to consult the Chief Minister on matters like appointment of bureaucrats.
