The 11th International Day of Yoga (IDY) was celebrated on a grand scale on Saturday, June 21, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi leading the national event from Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. The celebrations span across 191 countries with people gathering in large numbers. PM Modi urged people around the world to focus on health in this tumultuous time. With the theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health”, this year’s celebrations focus on yoga for humanity and making the effort for inner peace, a global policy.
