The India Meteorological Department announced that the monsoon has finally arrived in Delhi on Friday. Southwest Monsoon has further made progress across the national capital. Heavy rain hit Delhi early morning resulting in widespread waterlogging and traffic jams across the national capital. The portion of Delhi airport’s Terminal-1 roof also collapsed in which one person was killed and six were injured. The Met Department has also warned that Delhi will likely have cloudy skies accompanied by rain, thunderstorms, and gusty winds in the next seven days.
