PM  Narendra Modi took oath for the third consecutive year on Sunday, June 9, 2024. The 72 other members of the new coalition government of India took the oath of office yesterday. While thirty of them are Cabinet Ministers, five of them hold an independent charge, and 36 of them are Ministers of State.

After taking oath at Rashtrapati Bhavan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi smiled and greeted people. The 73-year-old BJP leader has taken oath for the third consecutive year. It was Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru who has earlier taken oath for three consecutive terms.
