CBSE class 10 result 2016: How to calculate CGPA from percentage and Grades: If the grade points for the five main subjects are: Sub I: 9; Sub II: 7; Sub III: 8; Sub IV: 9; Sub V: 8; Step I: Add all the grade points; 9+7+8+9+8 = 41; Step II: Divide the sum by 5; 41/5 = 8.2; So, 8.2 is your CGPA.
