PM left for home early on Thursday after concluding his European tour during which he held a series of bilateral meetings in Germany and Denmark to boost ties in a range of areas including trade, energy and green technology. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday met his Danish counterpart Mette Frederiksen and the two leaders discussed a wide range of issues of mutual interest to boost the bilateral relationship. Modi arrived in Copenhagen from Germany. Prime Minister Narendra Modi met his Danish counterpart Mette Frederiksen at her scenic 18th century official residence Marienborg which is perched upon a hilltop and surrounded by meadows, woods and lakes.

Modi arrived in Berlin on Monday morning on the first leg of his three-nation Europe trip that will also take him to Denmark and France. The visit comes amid the Ukraine crisis, which has united much of Europe against Russia. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday met German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and they reviewed the full range of bilateral ties, including giving an impetus to trade as well as cultural linkages. This is Prime Minister Modi’s first meeting with Scholz as German Chancellor, who assumed office in December, 2021.
