Moreover, after surpassing its rival in the domestic market, Bajirao Mastani will soon be overtaking its competitor in cumulative worldwide collections as well.

But we aren’t looking at the Bajirao Mastani’s box office collections; instead we are looking at the big ticket combo of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, who have both given stellar performances in the film.

So, when we compare the jodis of Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone-Ranbir Kapoor in terms of their overall box office success to find out which is the one that works better, it is clear the Deepika-Ranveer combo emerges the clear winner.
The Deepika Padukone-Ranveer duo is evidently, in the audiences’ mind at least, a better combo at the box-office as is proved by their two releases Bajirao Mastani and Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela, which in combination have earned Rs 283.43 cr as compared to the Deepika-Ranbir combo whose releases Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Tamasha earned a total of Rs. 252.17 cr. Here is the break-up: Goliyon Ki Rasleela lifetime collections were Rs 116.33 crore; Bajirao Mastani till now has collected Rs 167.10 cr. On the other hand, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani earned Rs 188.57 crore, while Tamasha collected Rs 63.6 cr. -
However, despite Deepika Padukone -Ranveer Singh making for a better team, the difference in collections between the two pairs is a meagre Rs 31.26 cr. Interestingly, apart from Deepika Padukone being the common factor, the actress has been romantically linked to both Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor.
