Mahindra launches ‘Mojo’ bike priced at Rs 1.58 lakh </br><br> Mahindra Two Wheelers, a part of the USD 16.9 billion Mahindra (M&M) group, today launched 300 cc bike ‘Mojo’ in the country, priced at Rs 1.58 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The motorcycle comes with various features like advanced electronic fuel ignition, iridium spark plug, resonator fitted intake system and twin exhausts. It also has a 21-litre fuel tank, the largest in its class. “It has been developed in-house, with inputs from global partners and is designed to be at par with global products in this class. The launch is primarily aimed at cashing in on the booming performance car segment in the country. BMW said it will open six more super luxury sales outlets under the M Studio label next year. The all-new BMW X5M, sporting a 4.4-litre 8-speed petrol engine, comes at Rs 1.5 crore while the X6M with the same engine specifications costs Rs 1.6 crore, all ex-showroom, India, as these are imported from its Munich plant. The recall covers Sorentos from the 2011 through 2013 model years. The cars can roll away unexpectedly and cause a crash, Kia says in documents posted Thursday by the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The problem happens when the gear shift lever is pushed too hard, causing a part in the shifter to crack. It has caused three injuries. The German auto giant last month caused global outrage when it admitted that it fitted 11 million diesel vehicles with software designed to cheat pollution tests. Preliminary results of investigations carried out by VW and a US law firm suggest that “the emissions fraud was not only created by a small group of managers, as the company claims,” said Spiegel Online without citing its source. “Dozens of Volkswagen managers were implicated, insiders speak of at least 30 people,” said the report, adding that “they are to be suspended”.
