PM Narendra Modi addressed the 40th edition of his popular radio programme Mann Ki Baat today. PM Modi shared his thoughts with the nation in the radio show where he atlked about women of India. PM Modi lauded and praised the efforts of women in the country. He praised late astronaut Kalpana Chawla and said that she inspired women all over the world. He also talked about the Padma awardees and praised that a common man can bag this prestigious award. He mentioned that Padma awards are only a medium of acknowledgement. PM Modi said, "I am sure you all felt proud after reading about the Padma Awards. We have honoured those who may not be seen in big cities but have done transformative work for society."
