Polycab India

Polycab India has landed a mega Rs 6,447.54 crore contract from BSNL under the BharatNet project. As the project implementation agency for Karnataka, Goa, and Puducherry, Polycab will design, build, and maintain the middle-mile digital infrastructure.

Hindustan Zinc

Hindustan Zinc, part of the Vedanta group, is investing Rs 12,000 crore over three years to expand its refined metal production by 250 KTPA. This is part of a broader plan to nearly double its capacity in five years. The investment also includes matching expansion in mines and mills across key locations.

Larsen and Tourbo (L&T)

At its 80th AGM, L&T’s CMD S N Subrahmanyan announced major progress in clean energy, including electrolyser manufacturing for green hydrogen and early access to U.S.-approved small modular reactor (SMR) technology. L&T is among only three Indian companies allowed to receive this tech, giving it a first-mover advantage in nuclear commercialisation.

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M)

Mahindra & Mahindra has secured CCI approval to acquire a 58.96% stake in commercial vehicle maker SML Isuzu. The Rs 1,554.60/share deal includes a 43.96% buy from Sumitomo and 15% from Isuzu Motors, followed by an open offer for an additional 26%.

UGRO Capital

UGRO Capital is set to acquire 100% of Profectus Capital in an all-cash deal worth Rs 1,400 crore. The transaction will be funded through a mix of recent capital raised and internal accruals and is expected to close within 2–3 months.

GMR Airports

GMR Airports served over 1 crore passengers across its network in May 2025. While domestic traffic was mostly flat, international travel rose by 2.9%. Aircraft movements also grew 6.3% YoY to nearly 65,000.

RailTel

RailTel has received a Letter of Intent from ZENICS to implement the Rs 43.99 crore Mizo Fibre Grid Network (MFGN). The final contract value will be confirmed soon, but the project ensures improved digital connectivity in the Northeast.
