Xiaomi’s next could be the Mi Pad 3 tablet, and according to reports, it will run on Windows 10 and feature a 9.7-inch display. The Chinese electronics company has launched the last tablet, Mi Pad 2in 2015 and it is high time that it comes up with an upgraded device. The new device is expected to be unveiled by Xiaomi by the end of 2016 and will come preinstalled with Cortana and MS Office. A few rumours and leaks about the Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 have surfaced online and we can see the images of the latest device apart from the features, price and specifications. A GizmoChina report, along with pictures suggested that the Mi Pad 3 will look almost similar to the previous variant Mi pad 2.
According to the reports surfaced online, the Xiaomi Mi Pad will feature a 9.7-in high-resolution retina display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536. The device is expected to be all-metal with 6.08mm thickness and a weight of 380g and has a fingerprint scanner. The device will have a huge battery of 8290mAh. The tablet is expected to have a USB Type-C port and will support quick charge 3.0. The USB port will be flanked by speakers on each side. When it comes to the processor it is still reportedly working with Intel and has a 7th Gen Core M processor (m3-7Y30) and an integrated Intel HD Graphics 615 GPU. There are two variants of the devices based on storage – 128 GB and 256 GB. The device has a 16MP rear camera with dual-tone flash and an 8MP selfie camera.


The Mi Pad 3 according to GizmoChina will be priced at ¥1999 (approx Rs 19,500) for the 128GB variant. The 256 GB variant may cost you around and ¥2299 (approx Rs 22,500). There is a keyboard dock as well which might be priced at ¥99 (approx Rs 950).

Although Xiaomi is known for its smartphones, has already launched two tablets till now. The Mi Pad came in 2014 and Mi Pad 2 was rolled out late last year.
