You can now call friends and family in the Americas for free using Skype. The video calling app has announced a limited pediod offer allowing users in India to call any mobile or landline in the US and Canada absolutely free.
This new feature will be in addition to the free Skype-to-Skype calling that is currently available to all Skype users.
“In the New Year, Skype users in India can connect with friends and family in the US and Canada without having to worry about call charges. Both existing and new Skype users can benefit from this offer,” a release said.
The offer will be available until March 1, 2015.
