Mi Note‬: Meet Xiaomi’s all new powerful flagship smartphone

Xiaomi Inc has staked its claim to Apple Inc’s crown as the world’s third-biggest smartphone maker and most valuable tech start-up unveiled the flagship Mi Note, its challenger to Apple’s iPhone 6 Plus.

At 2299 yuan ($371) for a model with 16 gigabytes of memory, the Mi Note will retail for almost two-thirds less than the iPhone 6 Plus. The Mi Note is also shorter, thinner and lighter than the iPhone.

Along with Mi Note, Xiaomi also launched Mi Note Pro.

* Snapdragon 810 64 bit 8-core, Adreno 430 GPU

* 5.7 inch 2K display (2560 x 1440 at 515 PPI)

* 4GB LPDDR4 RAM, 64GB eMMC 5.0 Flash

* LTE-CAT 9, up to 450Mbps download speeds

Xiaomi also launched a small set top box and a headphone on Thursday:

Mi Box mini: A small set-up box for ¥199 that’s 1/4 the size of Mi Box and fits like a power adapter. It packs a punch with Cortex-A7 quad-core 1.3GHz 1GB RAM, 4GB Flash. It also has 1080P resolution, Dolby, DTS audio and dual band Wi-Fi 802.11n.

Mi Headphone: Mi Headphones for ¥499; semi-open with 50mm large beryllium diaphragm speakers and interchangeable over-ear and on-ear covers. It’s super low 32-ohm impedance is the perfect complement with ‪Mi Note‬.
