With the Rio Olympics 2016 starting today, Google has dedicated a fruity doodle for the occasion. The doodle features a video wherein colorful fruits can been seen racing and participating in different sports with much enthusiasm. Not just the doodle, Google is introducing an app of fruity games for iOS and Android, wherein fruits will compete each other in different sports. Games such as water polo, biking, pineapple tennis can be played via this app.
Rio de Janeiro gears up for the mega sport event that is set to open today. At an evening ceremony in Maracana soccer stadium, Brazil will declare open the 31st summer Olympic games and the first ever in South America.
The opening ceremony is expected to be attended by over 50,000 spectators, while more than 3 billion will view it visually. Over 11,000 atheletes and dozens of heads of state are expected to participate.
