MWC 2024 updates: Xiaomi 14 series launched globally.

The Xiaomi 14 series broke its China exclusivity today with its big global unveiling at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 trade show in Barcelona. The line-up includes the Xiaomi 14, which was launched in China back in October 2023 (and is confirmed to launch in India on March 7) and the “photography powerhouse” Xiaomi 14 Ultra, which arrived on February 22. As expected, the Xiaomi 14 Pro isn’t leaving China for now.

The Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra feature high-end LTPO displays, IP68 dust and water resistance, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, Leica optics, and fast wired and wireless charging. The duo is also the first to run the new Xiaomi HyperOS software right out of the gate outside of China. The Xiaomi 14 starts at Euro 999 (roughly Rs 90,000) while the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will start at Euro 1,499 (roughly Rs 1,35,000).
