Vivo is gearing up to introduce the Vivo V60 in India, with recent leaks pointing to a potential launch in the coming month. The Vivo V60 5G is rumored to arrive soon, and an official launch date for the Indian market may finally be on the horizon. This latest addition to the V series is believed to be a rebranded version of the Vivo S30, which made its debut earlier in China. Serving as the successor to the Vivo V50—released in India earlier this year—the V60 has already seen several leaks outlining its expected specs, pricing details, and color options. These developments suggest that the device will likely position itself as a mid-range premium offering.
Vivo V60 Expected India Price:
According to a report by Smartprix, the upcoming Vivo V60 is likely to be priced between Rs 37,000 and Rs 40,000 in the Indian market. The smartphone is tipped to launch in three shades – Mist Grey, Moonlit Blue, and Auspicious Gold. For reference, the previous model, Vivo V50, debuted at Rs 34,999 for the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The higher-end variants carried price tags of Rs 36,999 and Rs 40,999. The V50 was introduced in color options like Rose Red, Starry Blue, and Titanium Grey.
Vivo V60 India launch date:
Vivo is expected to unveil the V60 series in India on August 12 at 7 PM IST, which will include both the regular Vivo V60 and the V60 5G variant. The smartphones are likely to go on sale soon after the launch through Flipkart, Vivo’s official online store, and authorised retail partners across the country.
Vivo V60 specifications:
The upcoming Vivo V60 is likely to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen, offering a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a 1.5K resolution. The panel is also expected to deliver up to 1300 nits of high brightness mode (HBM).
Under the hood, the device is speculated to run on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, and could be equipped with a large 6,500mAh battery, potentially supporting 90W rapid charging technology.
Recent leaked images hinted at a ZEISS-branded triple camera array on the rear of the Vivo V60. Building on that, the latest report has detailed the expected camera specs for the device. The phone is said to feature a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto camera. On the front, it’s expected to sport a 50MP selfie shooter.
Earlier leaks have also indicated that the Vivo V60 will likely be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset and house a sizable 6,500mAh battery unit.
