Vivo launched two phones in India today: Vivo V29 and Vivo V29 Pro, succeeding the Vivo V27 lineup. The prices for both phones start at Rs 32,999 and Rs 42,999.
Vivo V29 comes in three flavours—Himalayan Blue, Majestic Red and Space Black colours. Meanwhile, its elder sibling, Vivo V29 Pro comes in Himalayan Blue and Space Black options. Both, Vivo V29 and Vivo V29 Pro, boot Android 13-based Funtouch OS 13 out-of-the-box.

Vivo V29, Vivo V29 Pro specifications and features
Vivo V29 and V29 Pro 5G feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2800×1260 pixels resolution, and a punch-hole cut-out for the selfie camera.
Under the hood, Vivo V29 houses Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset paired with Adreno GPU, whereas Vivo V29 Pro houses MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC. Moreover, Vivo V29 series packs a 4,600mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
In terms of camera, both models sport a triple-camera setup: 50MP primary lens with OIS, 12MP portrait lens, and 8MP ultra-wide lens. Also, there’s a 50MP front camera on both the phones.

Vivo V29, Vivo V29 Pro pricing in India
Vivo V29 comes at Rs 32,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant, and Rs 36,999 for the upper 12GB/256GB variant. Meanwhile, its elder sibling comes at Rs 39,999 for the 8GB/256GB variant and Rs 42,999 for the 12GB/256GB variant.
Vivo V29 Pro pre-booking starts later today, with the official sales starting from October 10. Simultaneously, Vivo V29 will hit the shelves on October 17. These phones will be available at the official Vivo website, Flipkart, Reliance Digital outlets, and other select offline stores.
Additionally, Vivo has also introduced additional discounts such as Rs 3,500 instant discount on HDFC and SBI cards, along with up to Rs 3,500 exchange bonuses for online buyers. Meanwhile, offline customers receive up to 10 per cent cashback, 40 per cent discount on V-Sheild protection, and Rs 4,000 Vivo upgrade bonus.
