New iPhones have arrived in the market, and many Android users are contemplating switching over to the iOS system. Here’s an efficient way to transfer data from Android to iPhone safely and securely.
To get started, download the ‘Move to iOS’ app from Google Play Store, but before you begin, make sure Wi-Fi is turned on. Also, double-check the amount of data you’re moving. Turn on your Apple device and follow the on-screen instructions.
On your Android device, open the Move to iOS app, then tap Move Data from Android, and then tap continue. Once you are past this step, your iPhone should show a one-time code. Enter this code on your Android phone. Then the pairing process will begin and you’ll be able to select what files you’d like to transfer over. The list includes messages, contacts, calendar info, Google account(s), photos and videos, and user settings.
Leave both devices alone until the loading bar that appears on your iOS device has finished. Keep your devices near each other and plugged into power source until the transfer has been completed.
After the loading bar has finished on your iOS device, tap Done on your Android device. Then tap Continue on your iOS device and follow the on-screen steps to finish setup for your iOS device. Please note that music, books and PDFs need to be moved over manually.
