Samsung users are eagerly awaiting the release of the highly anticipated One UI 7 update, which is said to bring a few notable improvements to the company’s Galaxy lineup. Based on Android 15, the new software will bring along several new exciting features, including enhancements to AI capabilities and fresh design tweaks. Although Samsung had initially planned for an early rollout, the latest reports suggest that the full release could be delayed, with beta updates leading the way for a gradual launch.
Reportedly, Samsung could release One UI 7 Beta 5 in March 2025, followed by Beta 6 in April, before launching the stable version to the public. The Galaxy S24 series is likely to be the first to receive the update, with the S23 series receiving it shortly after, although it may face additional delays.
One UI 7 will be available for a range of Samsung Galaxy devices, including the latest Galaxy S24 and S23 series, as well as older models such as the Galaxy S21 and S22 (including FE variants). In addition, devices from the A and M series will also be eligible for the update. The Galaxy Z Flip and Fold devices, from the 3 to the 6 series, will also receive One UI 7, bringing a host of new features to these unique smartphones.
This update will be one of the first major updates to feature AI enhancements, aimed at improving user experience through smarter features and a more intuitive interface. Design changes are also expected, with Samsung continuing its push for a modern, sleek look across its devices. However, as Google prepares to release Android 16, there is the potential for further delays, particularly for older devices that may have to wait a bit longer for the One UI 7 update.
