Samsung launched a bunch of new hardware at its global Unpacked event in Paris on July 10. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 broke cover. They were joined by the Galaxy Watch Ultra, Samsung’s first rugged outdoor smartwatch, and Galaxy Watch 7. The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro and Galaxy Buds 3, too, were part of the ensemble. Samsung also finally announced pricing and availability details of the much-hyped Galaxy Ring, but sadly, it is not coming to India at least for now.
As largely expected, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 feature modest upgrades. The Fold 6 has a new, wider aspect ratio for both the inner and outer displays, with a squarer overall design. The Flip 6 has a slightly bigger cover screen, a new 50-megapixel main camera, and a vapour chamber cooling set up, a first for the Flip line-up.
The wearables are relatively more exciting. The Buds 3 Pro and Buds 3 adopt a new stem design, while the Watch Ultra takes on the Apple Watch Ultra with its Garmin-like feature set that includes a Titanium build and dual-frequency GPS. The Watch Ultra, Watch 7, Buds 3 Pro, and Buds 3 are also the first wave of Samsung wearables that support Galaxy AI right out of the gate.

That’s right, the Fold 6 is the first Samsung smartphone to breach the 2 lakh price bracket. The Flip 6 comes in a choice of 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB at a price of Rs 1,09,999 and Rs 1,21,999.
