Samsung has taken stern action in response to leaks surrounding its upcoming Galaxy S25 series, reportedly firing a staff member after recent hands-on images of the Galaxy S25 Plus were leaked online.

According to reports, the leaks were traced back to an internal source because the device’s identification number was visible in the leaked photos. Samsung’s efforts to maintain secrecy around its new devices have been an ongoing challenge, despite the company’s rigorous internal policies against leaks.

The leaked images, however, continue to surface, much to the frustration of Samsung. One of the most recent leaks comes from renowned tipster Evan Blass, who shared official-looking renders of both the Galaxy S25 Plus and the Galaxy S25 Ultra. These images offer a clear look at the design of the two flagships, showcasing distinct differences between the models. Both devices appear to feature a significant design shift compared to their predecessors, with one of the most noticeable changes being the more rounded corners on both models.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra, in picture features rounded corners. Meanwhile, the S25 Plus seems to have even more pronounced curves compared to the Galaxy S24 Plus, setting it apart visually from the Ultra model.

The leak of these renders also aligns with previous reports suggesting that Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S25 series at a Galaxy Unpacked event, which is rumoured to take place on January 22, 2024. Despite Samsung’s efforts to keep the details under wraps, the constant flow of leaks is becoming a familiar trend in the smartphone industry, with Samsung’s flagship devices often being among the most leaked ahead of their official launch.

While Samsung has been quick to act against leaks, it seems the company’s efforts are ultimately unable to fully contain the flood of information about its upcoming devices. As the Galaxy S25 series nears its official debut, these leaks continue to shape public expectations and excitement surrounding the flagship phones.
