Samsung is prepping to take part in the flagship race, followed by the recent launches of the iPhone 15 series, Pixel 8 series, and the upcoming OnePlus 12. Reportedly, Samsung has commenced the production of the S24 series and per tipster Ice Universe, it is said to release in mid-late January, ideally between January 20, 2024, and the end of the month.
Samsung Galaxy S24 series will consist of three phones— Samsung Galaxy S24, Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus, and Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and the launch will likely take place at the Galaxy Unpacked event in San Francisco, California. Last week, it was teased that Samsung Galaxy S24 could feature Zoom Anyplace and satellite connectivity, and similarly, more details have begun to surface.

Samsung Galaxy S24 camera: what we know so far
Samsung has unveiled a video showcasing the capabilities of the 200MP ISOCELL camera paired with the new Snapdragon chip. It’s anticipated that the Samsung Galaxy S24 series will include this 200MP primary camera and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Therefore, the camera features highlighted in the video are likely to be integrated into the Galaxy S24 series.
It showcases the Zoom Anyplace camera on the Samsung Galaxy S24, allowing simultaneous full-field and zoomed-in video recording at up to 4x zoom in 4K quality. It also features automatic subject tracking in real-time, and Samsung’s End-to-End AI Remosaic process which notably improves image quality.

Additionally, tipster IceUniverse notes that the Galaxy S24 series will support HDR photos in photo albums. It may also feature two-way satellite connectivity which corroborates with previous hints by Park Yong-in, Samsung System LSI division’s CEO.
