Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Smart Fire TV 32 2024 edition, an entry-level smart TV featuring a premium metal bezel-less design and an HD-ready (1366 x 768p) display capable of HDR playback for supported content. The 2024 edition is a sequel to the version launched in 2023. It was Xiaomi’s first stint at a Fire TV OS based TV. Generally its TVs come with Google TV/PatchWall.
The Redmi Smart Fire TV 32 2024 edition is powered by Xiaomi’s Vivid Picture Engine processing, driven by a 4-core processor (Cortex A35), paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage.
The Redmi Smart Fire TV 32 offers a variety of connectivity options, including two HDMI 2.0 ports (one with ARC), two USB 2.0 ports, an Ethernet port, AV input, a headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.0, and dual-band Wi-Fi. It supports voice-free Alexa, Miracast, and Apple’s AirPlay. The audio setup includes dual speakers with 20W output, Dolby Audio, DTS-HD, and Virtual X.
The Redmi Smart Fire TV 32-Inch 2024 edition is available on Mi.com, Amazon, and Flipkart at a special launch price of Rs 11,999. Additionally, with bank offers, the effective price drops to Rs 10,999, Xiaomi has announced.
