The much-anticipated Redmi Note 14 series is gearing up for its launch in India on December 9. This year, the lineup will consist of three models: the standard Redmi Note 14, the Note 14 Pro, and the top-end Note 14 Pro+. According to recent leaks, the pricing for the Indian variants is expected to start at Rs 21,999 for the base variant of the Redmi Note 14, with the Pro models ranging between Rs 28,999 and Rs 39,999, depending on storage options.
The base Redmi Note 14 will offer multiple configurations, including 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB, with prices increasing as storage capacity expands. On the other hand, the Redmi Note 14 Pro will be priced between Rs 28,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant and Rs 30,999 for the 8GB/256GB version. Meanwhile, the top-tier Redmi Note 14 Pro+ will come in three configurations, with prices ranging from Rs 34,999 for the 8GB/128GB model to Rs 39,999 for the high-end 12GB/512GB variant.
The leaked prices are based on MRP figures, and it is expected that online deals or discounts could make the devices more affordable. These smartphones will offer enhanced AI features, with the Pro and Pro+ models including advanced AI capabilities, such as AI Call Translation and AI Subtitle. However, it’s worth noting that the Pro models will come with an IP68 rating instead of the IP69 rating seen in the Chinese versions, which means slightly less protection against dust and water.
The early launch of the Redmi Note 14 series, arriving a month before last year’s Redmi Note 13, is seen as a strategic move to gain a competitive edge in the Indian market. With its powerful features and affordable pricing, the series is expected to attract a significant number of consumers looking for high-performance smartphones at budget-friendly prices.
