Realme has launched its new flagship smartphone, the Realme GT 7 Pro, in India. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite mobile platform, making it the first smartphone in India to feature this chipset. With an Antutu score of 3 million, the Realme GT 7 Pro is positioned as a high-performance device aimed at users seeking advanced specifications.
The Realme GT 7 Pro offers a 3nm process technology and an enhanced 2+6 octa-core processor, which provides a significant boost in speed and efficiency compared to previous models. The phone is designed to cater to both gamers and AI-driven applications, with improved performance in both single-core and multi-core tasks.
For photography, the device is equipped with the Sony IMX882 periscope camera, offering 3X optical zoom and AI-enhanced features such as AI Sketch to Image and AI Motion Deblur. The GT 7 Pro also includes the first-ever AI Underwater Photography mode, allowing users to capture images underwater without losing quality.
The smartphone features a RealWorld Eco Display co-developed with Samsung, offering a 120% DCI-P3 color gamut and a 6500 nits peak brightness. With 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, the display is aimed at providing smooth visuals for both media consumption and gaming. The device also supports Dolby Vision for improved picture quality.
In terms of battery life, the realme GT 7 Pro is equipped with a 5800mAh battery and supports 120W SUPERVOOC fast charging, capable of charging the device to 50% in 11 minutes and full charge in 30 minutes as per the company’s claims.
The Realme GT 7 Pro is available in two configurations: 12GB+256GB priced at INR 56,999 and 16GB+512GB priced at INR 62,999. It is available in Mars Orange and Galaxy Grey colours. Pre-booking started on November 18, with the first sale scheduled for November 29 on Amazon and realme.com.
