Realme has dropped a bunch of new hardware information about its soon-to-launch Realme GT 6T smartphone. The phone is confirmed to come with “world’s brightest flagship display” and “India’s largest cooling system.” The GT 6T will also mark the India debut of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 processor.

The Realme GT 6T will an 8T LTPO AMOLED display with up to a whopping 6,000 nits of peak brightness. Realme says its display is designed with a focus on clarity, responsiveness, and user comfort. The panel will have a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz (it can go as low as 1Hz). It will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 as well.
Realme is pairing the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 to a 9-layer “advanced Iceberg vapor cooling system” with a 10014mm² 3D tempered dual VC, to improve thermal efficiency. The thermal management setup extends into the phone’s design so the Realme GT 6T’s side frame can remain cooler under load. Realme claims the design ensures temperature reduction by up to 2-degree Celsius.
Last but not the least, the Realme GT 6T will be powered by a 5,500mAh battery and supports 120W fast charging.
Realme GT 6T India launch date
The Realme GT 6T is set to launch in India on May 22, 2024. It will be the first Realme GT series phone in India in two years.
