Realme is set to bring some action to the midrange segment after OnePlus and Nothing dominated it most of the summer with back-to-back launches. The Realme 15 5G and its Pro variant, the Realme 15 Pro 5G, are set to launch on July 24 at an event starting from 7 PM IST. While Realme has teased some of the specs and features ahead of the revelation, core details like the price and some key specs remain hidden. Thankfully, leaks have revealed everything there is to know about this feature-packed midrange smartphone.
The Realme 15 series will directly compete with the Redmi Note 14 Pro series, Motorola Moto G96 and the recently launched Galaxy M and Galaxy A series devices from Samsung. The Pro variant will also compete with the Nothing Phone 3a and the recently launched OnePlus Nord CE 5.
Realme 15 series India prices leaked
Ahead of the launch, a leakster has revealed the price of the Realme 15 and Realme 15 Pro models in India. Surprisingly, Realme seems to be going up the price ladder this year, with the Realme 15 5G rumoured to start at Rs 25,000 and the Realme 15 Pro starting at Rs 30,000. Higher-spec variants of the Pro model could reach up to Rs 40,000. The device will be available for purchase via Flipkart, Realme’s official e-store, and retail channels across the country.
However, note that these aren’t official figures from Realme. Moreover, the actual selling price of the devices could be a lot lower than the MRP mentioned on the box.
Realme 15 Pro key specifications and features
The Realme 15 Pro 5G is rumoured to feature a large 6.8-inch curved AMOLED display with a sharp 1.5K resolution and an impressive 144Hz refresh rate. It’s also expected to boast a high peak brightness of up to 6,500 nits and feature Corning Gorilla Glass protection. An in-display fingerprint sensor is also expected for security.
Under the hood, the Pro variant will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, which is built on a 4nm process. Realme claims this processor delivers an AnTuTu score exceeding 1.1 million, indicating strong performance. The phone is also expected to include AI-backed gaming features like GT Boost 3.0 and Game Coach 2.0.
For photography, the Realme 15 Pro 5G is likely to feature a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, paired with another 50MP ultra-wide lens and assisted by another camera. On the front, a 50MP selfie camera is expected that will be capable of high-resolution selfies and 4K video recording at 60fps. AI-based photo editing tools are also anticipated.
A significant highlight for both models in the Realme 15 series is the expected 7,000mAh battery, which will be coupled with 80W fast charging support. Realme claims the Pro model can deliver up to 113 hours of music playback on a single charge. Both the Realme 15 5G and 15 Pro 5G are likely to run on Realme UI based on Android 15, though official software details will be fully confirmed at the launch event.
Lastly, the design of the Realme 15 Pro 5G is said to have a slim profile, measuring approximately 7.69mm in thickness and weighing around 187 grams. It will also come with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. The phone could come in Flowing Silver, Silk Purple, and Velvet Green colourways.
