Poco X6 Pro launched with Xiaomi HyperOS, Dimensity 8300 Ultra; price starts at Rs 26,999

Poco launched the Poco X6 Pro in India today, per schedule. This new phone from the Xiaomi spin-off brand Poco brings a bunch of high-end specs including a 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED, MediaTek’s Dimensity 8300-Ultra chip, and 67W fast charging at a price of less than Rs 30,000. The Poco X6 Pro is also the first phone to launch with Xiaomi HyperOS out of the box in India.

The Poco X6 Pro comes in a choice of 8GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB at a price of Rs 26,999 and Rs 28,999, respectively. The device is available to pre-order from today, January 11 itself, starting 8:00 PM. General availability is pegged for January 16 (starting 12:00 PM) from Flipkart.

Poco says it will offer Rs 2,000 discount on purchases made using ICICI credit/debit cards and EMI.

Poco X6 Pro specs, features

The Poco X6 Pro has a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel tops out at 1,800 nits and supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision playback. You get an in-display fingerprint reader for biometrics.

Powering the Poco X6 Pro is Mediatek’s Dimensity 8300-Ultra chip which is paired with up to 162GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS4.0 storage. Running the show is Xiaomi’s HyperOS software based on Android 14. The phone comes with a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast wired charging.

You get a trio of sensors on the back of this phone with a 64-megapixel main sensor behind an optically stabilised lens in addition to an 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro. On the front, it has a 16MP camera for selfies.

Rounding off the package are dual speakers and an in-display fingerprint reader for biometrics.
