OnePlus’ first debut foldable finally comes to life with the launch of OnePlus Open. The new foldable comes in two colours— Green and Black. Its twin Oppo Find N3 was launched earlier today in Singapore and is priced at SGD 2,399 which roughly translates to Rs 1,45,400 for the sole 16GB+512GB variant.
OnePlus Open will be sold globally, including India. Also, it comes after a collaborative effort of OnePlus and its sister company Oppo, both fall under BBK Electronics umbrella.

The latest OnePlus Open features a 6.31″ AMOLED display with a 2484×1116 pixel resolution, offering a dynamic 10-120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, this panel boasts a 20:9 aspect ratio and can reach a peak brightness of up to 2,800 nits. When unfolded, the device unfolds to reveal a 7.82″ display with a resolution of 2440×2268 pixels and a dynamic refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz.
Under the hood, the foldable device packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, accompanied by 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of storage. Fueling this device is a 4,805mAh battery, supporting 67W SuperVOOC charging, promising a 100% charge in just 42 minutes, as previously reported and leaked.
In terms of camera, the OnePlus Open boasts a Hasselblad-branded camera setup. It sports a 20MP selfie camera on the inside and a 32MP camera on the cover screen. On the back, you’ll find a 48MP Sony sensor with enhanced light sensitivity, a 48MP sensor featuring a 14mm ultrawide lens, and a 64MP zoom camera with 3x optical zoom and 6x hybrid zoom capabilities.

OnePlus Open comes in sole 16GB+512GB variant and is priced at Rs 1,39,999 with the pre-orders beginning today. Additionally, there’s also a Rs 8,000 trade-in bonus on select devices and interest free EMIs up to 12 months. Moreover, there’s a Rs 5,000 instant bank discount for ICICI bank and OneCard holders. The sale starts October 27, 2023.
