The OnePlus Ace 3V has launched in China today, per schedule. It is officially the first smartphone to come rocking Qualcomm’s freshly minted Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 processor designed to bring generative AI capabilities to midrange devices. You also get a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary sensor and 100W fast charging in this phone putting it all inside a glass chassis that —also— retains the company’s signature alert slider. The Ace 3V is interesting from an India perspective as well. If history is anything to go by, we might just be looking at the blueprint for the Nord 4.
The OnePlus Ace 3V has a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and up to 120Hz refresh rate. The panel can peak 2,150 nits, OnePlus says. Memory choices include 12GB/16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB/512GB UFS4.0 storage. The dual SIM phones runs ColorOS 14 based on Android 14. Powering the phone is a Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 processor and a 5,500mAh battery with 100W fast charging support baked in. You also get dual speakers and IR blaster in this phone. Biometrics are handled by an in-display fingerprint reader. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and 5G.
For photography, the Ace 3V has a dual camera setup on the rear with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 sensor behind an f/1.8 aperture lens with optical image stabilisation, and another 8-megapixel ultrawide. The front camera is a 16-megapixel.
OnePlus has launched the Ace 3V in 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, and 16GB/512GB trims for CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs 23,500), CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs 27,000), and CNY 2,599 (roughly Rs 30,500). General availability is pegged for March 25 in China.
While there is no word on when OnePlus will launch the Ace 3V/Nord 4 in India, the Nord CE 4 is scheduled to launch in the country on April 1.
