OnePlus has officially strengthened its smartphone lineup in India, hosting a major launch event in Bengaluru today to debut the OnePlus 15R smartphone and the OnePlus Pad Go 2 tablet. The launch comes on the heels of the launch of the OnePlus 15 flagship, wherein the brand now wants to target the midrange segment that values performance and value over premium features. Both the OnePlus 15R and OnePlus Pad Go 2 bring OnePlus’ smart new ecosystem and competitive hardware.

The OnePlus 15R comes in two memory variants, with 12GB RAM as standard on both.
The OnePlus 15R is priced in India starting at Rs 47,999 and is offered in two variants: 12GB RAM with 256GB storage and 12GB RAM with 512GB storage.
The OnePlus 15R is available starting today via OnePlus.in, Amazon India, and authorized retail stores across the country.

The star of the show, the OnePlus 15R, arrives as a performance-heavy flagship alternative to the OnePlus 15 and the successor to the OnePlus 13R. It is among the first in its class to feature the cutting-edge Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, which OnePlus says has been developed in a special partnership with Qualcomm. The chip is paired with a dedicated touch response chip to cater to the gaming community.
The OnePlus 15R sports a stunning 1.5K AMOLED display with a class-leading 165Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,800 nits.
Durability and battery life are central to the 15R’s appeal. It houses a massive 7,400mAh battery that supports 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging. Furthermore, the phone is built to withstand extreme conditions, carrying an IP69K rating, which protects it against high-pressure, hot water jets. The device also introduces the Plus Key, a dedicated hardware button that integrates with Plus Mind AI for instant screen content analysis and contextual suggestions.
