The OnePlus 15 is going global tonight and ahead of the launch, there’s almost nothing that’s not revealed yet, courtesy of leaks and rumours. This flagship device, already making waves since its China debut earlier this week, promises cutting-edge performance and a refreshed design that could challenge rivals like the Samsung Galaxy S25 and the newly launched iPhone 17 series. Unlike the previous years, the OnePlus 15 will be the only device taking the stage at the product’s launch – there won’t be a cheaper OnePlus 15R accompanying it.

OnePlus 15 launch: Where to watch it

The OnePlus 15 launch event streams on the OnePlus India YouTube channel, starting sharp at 7 PM IST. Early access perks for Red Cable Club members include priority bookings and trade-in deals with existing OnePlus smartphones.

OnePlus 15 leaked specs at a glance

Since the phone has already launched in China, we have a pretty clear picture of what to expect from this upcoming OnePlus flagship. At its core is a 6.78-inch BOE Flexible AMOLED LTPO display, boasting 1.5K resolution with a 165Hz refresh rate. It peaks at 1,800 nits brightness and covers 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.

Under the hood, Qualcomm’s 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset drives the show, clocking up to 4.6GHz with an Adreno 840 GPU. This is paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1 storage, which should ensure smooth multitasking and fast app loading. The camera array ditches Hasselblad for an in-house tuned triple 50MP setup, consisting of a Sony main sensor, an ultra-wide lens, and a 3.5x telephoto for optical zoom. OnePlus says it has worked on colour accuracy and low-light shots, while the 32MP front camera supports 4K/60fps video.

Battery life gets a massive boost with a 7,300mAh cell, supporting 120W wired super-fast charging and 50W wireless. At just 8.1mm thin and 211 grams, it maintains a premium feel. Out of the box, it runs Android 16 with OxygenOS 16, promising seven years of updates for longevity.
