OnePlus is gearing up to debut the OnePlus 13s, its first compact premium smartphone, on June 5, 2025. Positioned within the 13 Series portfolio, this model is being launched specifically for the Indian audience. Interestingly, an early Amazon listing accidentally exposed several key specifications of the device. According to the listing, the OnePlus 13s will feature a dual rear camera setup, headlined by a 50MP main sensor. It is expected to house a sizable 5,850mAh battery and come equipped with 12GB of RAM and storage options reaching up to 512GB. The smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and measures just 8mm in thickness.
OnePlus 13s launch event:
The official unveiling of OnePlus 13s is set to take place at 12:00 PM IST, with a live broadcast available on the OnePlus India YouTube channel and the brand’s official website. The company has activated a “Notify Me” feature on its official website, giving users the option to sign up for instant alerts and stay informed in the lead-up to the launch.
OnePlus 13s India price:
Although OnePlus has not officially revealed the price of the 13s, CEO Robin Liu has hinted that the device will be positioned between the OnePlus 13, priced at Rs. 69,999, and the more affordable OnePlus 13R, available at Rs. 42,999.
This suggests that the 13s will offer high-end performance at a more wallet-friendly rate. Industry insiders speculate the pricing could hover around Rs. 55,000. This aligns with ongoing rumors that the 13s may be a rebranded version of the OnePlus 13T, which launched in China back in April for CNY 3,399—roughly Rs. 39,000.
OnePlus 13s Design:
The upcoming OnePlus 13s is expected to debut a fresh design change by replacing the brand’s iconic alert slider with a newly introduced ‘Plus Key’—a versatile button reminiscent of the iPhone’s Action Button. This customizable control is said to handle multiple functions, including toggling sound profiles, launching the camera app, initiating voice memos, and more. For enhanced security, the phone will reportedly include an in-display fingerprint scanner. It is also likely to boast a high-level IP68 or IP69 rating, offering strong resistance against dust and water exposure.
OnePlus 13s Processor and Storage:
Under the hood, the OnePlus 13s is expected to be driven by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, ensuring flagship-level performance. It could be offered with configurations of up to 12GB RAM and 512GB of onboard storage. Powering the device will likely be a large 6,200mAh battery, paired with 90W fast charging capabilities to allow quick top-ups and minimal downtime.
