After a long wait, the Nothing Phone (3) is officially slated for a global launch on July 1, 2025. Although Nothing and its enthusiastic CEO have tried their best to keep all things secret but nothing stays hidden in an era when leaksters reveal everything beforehand. A torrent of leaks and official teasers has painted a clear picture of what to expect from Nothing’s next-generation flagship phone.
Hence, ahead of the July 1 launch date, here is everything you need to know about the upcoming Nothing Phone (3) and all its related specifications.
Design
Nothing is sticking to a semi-transparent style back panel design that does away with the Glyph LED lights. While Nothing hasn’t made anything official, rumours suggest that the Glyph lights will be replaced with a dot-matrix-style Glyph Matrix circular display patch. Other than superior notifications and details, this small display is expected to offer more customisation features and a distinct identity. The triple camera arrangement is also expected to look much different from any of Nothing’s previous designs.
Performance

At the heart of the Nothing Phone (3) will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, which is officially confirmed by the brand. While not the absolute top-tier processor from Qualcomm, the 8s Gen 4 is expected to deliver a substantial performance boost over its predecessor, the Phone (2). Nothing has stated that the new SoC will offer a 36 per cent improvement in CPU, 88 per cent jump in GPU, and a 60 per cent increase in NPU performance.
Rumours also suggest that the Phone (3) will come with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage as standard, with a higher-end model offering 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. It is said to run on Nothing OS 3.5, based on Android 15 and AI features will be borrowed from the Phone (3a) series.
Cameras
Photography is also set to receive a major upgrade on the Nothing Phone (3). Leaks suggest a powerful triple-camera setup on the rear, with all three sensors being 50-megapixel. This configuration is expected to include a main wide camera, an ultrawide-angle sensor, and a periscope telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom. Even the front camera sensor will be a 50MP unit.
Display
The Phone (3) is also expected to feature a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution. LTPO ensures dynamic refresh rates, which could vary between 1Hz to 120Hz depending on the requirement. This could help with extracting more battery life while keeping the user experience smooth.
Battery
Nothing is also taking care of the battery capacity with the Phone (3). The device is tipped to pack a 5,150mAh battery, which is a minor upgrade from the 4,700mAh unit in the Phone (2). It seems that Nothing won’t adopt the more modern and popular silicon carbide battery tech to pack more juice into the battery. It is also said that the phone could offer 100W wired charging, although our bet is more on a sedate 45W solution.
Expected pricing in India
While official pricing will only be revealed on July 1, leaks provide an anticipated range for the Indian market. The Nothing Phone (3) is expected to be priced between Rs 50,000 to Rs 60,000 in India. This would position it in the upper mid-range segment, taking on the likes of the Apple iPhone 16e and the Google Pixel 9a.
