Not far behind, Samsung is preparing to roll out its latest foldable flagship—the Galaxy Z Fold 7—around mid-July. This next-gen device is expected to feature a larger screen and a triple-lens rear camera system, continuing Samsung’s leadership in the foldable space. Meanwhile, OnePlus is readying the launch of the Nord 5, a mid-range offering anticipated to deliver notable improvements over its predecessor. With a lineup that includes everything from cutting-edge foldables to feature-rich mid-tier phones, July offers Indian consumers a wide range of compelling smartphone choices.

Nothing Phone 3:

London-based tech company Nothing is preparing to launch its latest flagship device, the Nothing Phone (3), on July 1. Ahead of the debut, the brand has been generating buzz by teasing key features such as the powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset and a refreshed Glyph Matrix design

The upcoming Nothing Phone (3) is rumored to feature a new 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, complementing the current 50MP main and 50MP ultra-wide cameras. Up front, the selfie camera is expected to see a major boost, jumping from 32MP to 50MP—promising better image clarity for selfies and sharper video call quality. Additionally, there’s increasing speculation that the front camera could finally debut with autofocus capability this time.

Although the official pricing will be announced at launch, insider reports indicate that the Nothing Phone (3) could be priced around Rs 60,000 in India.

OnePlus Nord 5:

The OnePlus Nord 5 is set to debut in India on July 8 at 2 PM, launching alongside the Nord CE 5 during the same event. As per the teaser shared on the official OnePlus Nord 5 microsite, the upcoming smartphone will feature a dual rear camera system. The primary lens will be a 50MP Sony LYT-700 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) to deliver steadier photos and videos. Alongside it, the device will include an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 116-degree field of view, ideal for capturing expansive shots.

The OnePlus Nord 5 is speculated to feature a 6.83-inch AMOLED screen offering a 120Hz refresh rate and a full-HD+ resolution of 1272 x 2800 pixels. The device is likely to be available in two memory configurations—8GB and 12GB of RAM—coupled with storage options of 256GB and 512GB.

The OnePlus Nord 5 is expected to arrive in the Indian market with an entry-level price estimated to fall between Rs 30,000 and Rs 35,000 for the base variant.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7:

Samsung has confirmed the date for its next Galaxy Unpacked event, where the highly anticipated Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 will make their debut. The launch is slated for Wednesday, July 9, and will take place in New York City.

Speculation indicates that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will feature an upgraded 8-inch internal screen, an improvement over the 7.6-inch display found on the Fold 6. The cover display is also expected to grow to 6.5 inches. Both panels are likely to utilize AMOLED technology and support a dynamic 120Hz refresh rate for fluid performance. Under the hood, the device may be powered by a customized edition of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, fine-tuned to enhance Samsung’s unique software experience.

In terms of photography, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is rumored to see a major enhancement, featuring a powerful 200MP primary sensor—akin to the one expected in the Galaxy S25 Ultra—paired with a 12MP ultra-wide camera and a 10MP telephoto lens. The outer front-facing camera is likely to retain its 10MP resolution.

In Italy, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is projected to be priced at EUR 2,227.71 (roughly Rs 2,23,000) for the 256GB variant, while the 512GB version is expected to retail for EUR 2,309.03 (approximately Rs 2,31,100).
