Moto G24 Power launched in India today, per schedule. As widely teased, it is an affordable smartphone with a big battery though there are other niceties, too, including a high refresh rate screen, high-resolution main camera, and the very latest of Android software. What’s impressive is, despite what appears to be a very desirable spec sheet— for a budget phone— the Moto G24 Power comes in at a price of less than Rs 10,000.
The Moto G24 Power is following hot on the heels of the Moto G34 5G, which is yet another budget phone from Motorola with a price of less than Rs 12,000. As you can probably tell from the name, the G34 is a 5G phone. The G24 is 4G only.
Moto G24 Power launch: Full specs, features
The Moto G24 Power’s biggest USP seems to be its big battery. Motorola is launching the phone with a 6,000mAh battery. The phone also supports quick charging up to 33W. Powering the phone is the MediaTek Helio G85 processor. It is paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of expandable storage.
Another big highlight of the Moto G24 Power is its software. Like the Moto G34, it also runs Android 14 out of the box. Motorola is promising up to three years of security updates.
The display specs appear to be mostly similar with the Moto G24 Power also coming with a 6.5-inch 720p LCD display, though Motorola has dropped the refresh rate to 90Hz (the G34 is 120Hz).
For photography, the Moto G24 Power has a 50-megapixel main camera and 2-megapixel secondary sensor for macros. The front camera is a 16-megapixel.
The rest of the packaging includes an IP52 splash water repellent design with a choice of glacier blue and ink blue colourways, dual speakers with Dolby Atmos playback support, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader for biometrics.

The Moto G24 Power comes in choice of 4GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB at a price of Rs 8,999 and Rs 9,999, respectively. General availability is pegged for February 7, 2024.
