Google is all set to host its annual Made by Google event on Oct 4 where we will primarily see the release of new Pixel smartphones—Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro and its updated smartwatch Pixel Watch 2. Other than the new Pixel lineup and Watch update, California’s tech giant is also expected to roll out Android 14, Pixel Buds Pro in new colours or flavours, whatever you like to say.
Furthermore, some Pixel-exclusive features are also expected in an attempt to take over competitors. Google is said to have invested heavily in AI the recent and Pixel phones may take full advantage of it.

Made by Google event 2023: how to watch, timings
Made by Google event is set to kick off on Oct 4, 2023, at 10 AM ET, which translates to 7:30 PM IST. It will mark Google’s second in-person event after the pandemic as things have been better lately. It will be hosted in New York City and will be available to live stream on Google’s dedicated microsite, YouTube or you can simply watch it from the embedded video here.
What to expect at Made by Google event 2023
Pixel 8: Pixel 8 will be launched during the event. Rumours say that it will come smaller than its predecessor, however, it will be packed with camera upgrades including a 50MP wide lens and AI-powered photo editing features, and Tensor G3 chip.
Pixel 8 Pro: Pixel 8 Pro is likely to feature a similar display size to the previous model but with camera improvements, a temperature sensor, and the new Tensor G3 chip.
Pixel Watch 2: The second-gen Pixel Watch or Pixel Watch 2 is expected to come with advanced health tracking features, including a heart rate tracker and stress management system, alongside a sleek design.

Pixel Buds in new flavours: Most likely, there could be new colour options for the Pixel Buds Pro, such as porcelain and possibly sky blue, to adjust the new Pixel phone’s hue.
Android 14: Android’s latest version is said to be launched during the event with the release of Pixel phones. Several new features like passkeys, AI-generated wallpapers, and enhanced stylus capabilities, possibly with the ability to use your phone as a webcam, like Apple’s Continuity Camera, are expected.
And, obviously more AI, and AI: Throughout the event, AI is likely to play a significant role, enhancing camera capabilities, powering photo editing features, and potentially offering new AI-driven functions for Google’s products.
