Apple has finally hinted about the launch of its much awaited M4-powered Macs. Just after the iPad Mini 7 launch, it’s back with another new update. The rumor for the launches in the coming week, has been brewing for quite some time. Now, it’s finally got a heads-up as  Apple’s VP Grek Joswiak has made an X (earlier Twitter) post about the launch. So, what can we expect from the upcoming launches? Let’s have a look at it!

M4 to come soon

On October 25, in an X (previously Twitter),  Joswiak wrote that “Mac your calendars! We have an exciting week of announcements ahead, starting on Monday morning. Stay tuned!” However, apart from this, no other detailed official announcement is made yet. But this hasn’t stopped anyone from making speculations about Apple’s upcoming launches.  Some speculations suggest that Apple can bring M4-powered Macs which will include a higher-end 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro with M4 Pro and M4 Max chips. Additionally, you can also get an entry-level 14-inch MacBook Pro.

Also, the tech giant could bring a fresh model of Mac Mini with M4 Pro and M4 variants. You can also expect an iMac with the M4 processor. The Mac Mini could get a size just like the Apple TV. These updates have the potential to boost Apple’s existing laptop and desktop lineup.

Other updates

In addition to the above mentioned products, other speculations suggest that Apple will bring the first wave of Apple intelligence on October 28. With the iOS 18.1 you can expect several new  AI-powered features and a few more customisation upgrades.

You can also get a new MacBook Pro model which could get 16GB of RAM for the first time. Also, it can include three Thunderbolt 4 ports, which is an update from the three ports on the earlier M3 model. The updated MacBook Pro could also have a 10-core GPU and 10-core CPU. This is an upgrade from the existing  M3 chip’s 8-core CPU design.

In other news, Apple also plans to bring a business Id feature to help you identify the true ID of any business caller. This feature is just like the Truecaller app. Basically, with this feature you can see the original ID of any caller. Currently,  the feature is in the testing phase and will roll out to all by next year. Apple confirmed this announcement in a blog post. It said that next year businesses will be able to differentiate between  potential customers and spam callers.
