At the 2024 India Mobile Congress (IMC) which kicks off today, October 15, Reliance Jio has launched two new affordable 4G feature phones—JioBharat V3 and JioBharat V4. Jio says their predecessor, the JioBharat V2 which was launched in 2023, was met with stupendous success. The V3 and V4 build on that and take things forward, possibly in all the right ways.
As is usually the case with most Jio hardware, the JioBharat V3 and JioBharat V4 not only offer 4G connectivity but also focus on design and digital functionality, making modern-day feature set more accessible to the masses.
JioBharat V3 and JioBharat V4: Specs, features
Jio says the JioBharat V3 is all about making a style statement. Its sleek, modern design reflects the aspirations of users who want more than just utility from their phones. On the other hand, the JioBharat V4 caters to those who appreciate minimalism and quality. Both phones try to balance functionality with aesthetics, ensuring users get premium vibes at an affordable price.
Details on exact hardware specs are scarce at the time of writing. All we know is that the V3 and V4 will come pre-loaded with several Jio services including:
JioTV
JioCinema
JioPay
JioChat
The only other big hardware spec reveal for today is the battery capacity. With a 1,000mAh battery, these phones are designed to last through the day. Plus, expandable storage up to 128GB is supported. And with support for 23 Indian languages, the JioBharat phones are truly inclusive and accessible for everyone. For the JioBharat V2, Jio had partnered with Delhi-based Karbonn Mobiles. Whether or not the same brand is making the JioBharat V3 and JioBharat V4 as well, isn’t immediately clear.
JioBharat V3 and JioBharat V4: Price, availability
The JioBharat V3 and JioBharat V4 are both priced at Rs 1,099 and will be available soon across JioMart, Amazon, and physical stores pan India.
