Samsung has announced a limited period festive offer which makes the Galaxy S24 smartphone cheaper by Rs 15,000. The S24, which starts at Rs 74,999, can be purchased for as low as Rs 59,999, during the promotional sale event.

In a press note shared with the media, Samsung said the Rs 59,999 special price is inclusive of an instant cashback of Rs 12,000 along with an additional upgrade bonus or bank cashback of Rs 3,000. This means that the company is offering a flat Rs 12,000 discount on the Galaxy S24 through cashback while the other Rs 3,000 off will come as a bonus if you choose to exchange an existing device or make your purchase using select bank cards.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 comes in a choice of 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB and 8GB/512GB for Rs 74,999, Rs 79,999 and Rs 89,999.

The Galaxy S24 has a 6.2-inch 1080p LTPO OLED display with a dynamic refresh rate of 1-120Hz. The panel can peak 2,600 nits, Samsung says. Powering the S24 is the Samsung Exynos 2400 processor while calling the shots is a 4,000mAh battery with 25W wired and 15W wireless charging. For photography, it has a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel wide, 10-megapixel 3x telephoto, and 12-megapixel ultrawide lenses. The front camera is a 12-megapixel. Samsung has committed to providing seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates for this smartphone.

Interestingly, the Galaxy S24 limited period festive offer discount has been announced on the same day that the Apple iPhone 16 series is going on sale in India.e 16 series is going on sale in India. The line-up was launched on September 9 while pre-orders had gone live on September 13.
The iPhone 16 is priced at Rs 79,900 for 128GB, Rs 89,900 for 256GB, and Rs 1,09,900 for 512GB.
