After much anticipation Apple today announced the release of iPadOS 18.2, iOS 18.2, and macOS Sequoia 15.2. It also introduced a bunch of new Apple Intelligence features to update your user experience.
The new set of features will be available for iPad, iPhone and Mac users. Let’s dive into the details.

So, what are the new features that will be coming to you? Given below is the detailed list:
- iOS 18.2, iPadOS 18.2, and macOS Sequoia 15.2: With the next major Apple Intelligence update the company will be bringing some of the most-anticipated Apple AI features to devices. This means it will bring iOS 18.2, macOS Sequoia 15.2 and iPadOS 18.2
- Image Playground: This AI image generator by Apple will let you create images in multiple styles just from a text input. Additionally you also get a new standalone app. You can also access the tool from apps such as Messages and Notes.
- Genmoji: You will also get Apple’s AI-generated emojis on the iPhone. This will allow you to send any emoji you can think of, just at the tap of a button.
- ChatGPT: With the update now you can use ChatGPT directly from Siri. This allows you to ask OpenAI’s chatbot difficult prompts .
- Visual Intelligence: This iPhone 16-exclusive Apple Intelligence feature will allow you snap a photo of anything and search for more information. You can search for them through ChatGPT and Google. This feature is a part of te=he Camera Control.
Other features
In addition to the above mentioned features, you also have a ‘Mail haul’ feature. This has brought a feature that will allow the Mail app to categories and to determine if an email is important enough to prioritize. This will be done with the help of Apple intelligence.
From now, Apple Intelligence will start with language expansion to localized English support for Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, and the U.K.. Later on it will also give access to other languages. This includes English (India),Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, English (Singapore), Korean, Spanish, Portuguese and Vietnamese. These will be coming throughout the year, with the first set coming in a software update in April.
