Google can’t catch a break as yet another leak of the upcoming Google Pixel 9 series has surfaced. This time, the leak comes in the form of marketing materials shared with 91mobiles by the tipster OnLeaks. These marketing images provide an in-depth look at the specs and features of the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, leaving very little to the imagination about these highly anticipated devices.

Pixel 9 series detailed specs and features

The leaked images reveal that the base Pixel 9 may feature a 6.3-inch display and 12GB of RAM. Meanwhile, the Pixel 9 Pro is expected to come in two sizes, 6.3-inch and 6.8-inch (XL), both boasting 16GB of RAM. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is likely to feature an upgraded 6.3-inch display when folded and an impressive eight-inch display when unfolded, also equipped with 16GB of RAM. All models are anticipated to be powered by Google’s new G4 Tensor chip.

In the camera department, the base Pixel 9 is expected to sport a 10.5-megapixel front-facing camera along with a dual rear camera setup, comprising a 50MP wide camera and a 48MP ultrawide lens. The Pixel 9 Pro is rumoured to feature a 42MP selfie camera, complemented by a triple rear camera system: a 50MP main camera, a 48MP ultrawide sensor, and a 48MP telephoto lens. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold may come with a 10MP selfie camera, a 48MP main camera, a 10.5MP ultrawide sensor, and a 10.8MP telephoto lens.

The leaked marketing materials also shed light on some of the innovative features that the Pixel 9 lineup might offer. Google’s Gemini AI assistant and Circle to Search are your usual suspects. Additionally, the Pixel 9 series is rumoured to include a capability that allows users to search their screenshots easily. One of the leaked images indicates that “Pixel Screenshots” can help users “save info that you want to remember later — like events, places, and more.”

Lastly, the Pixel 9 series is also expected to come with several security features, including emergency SOS with crisis alerts. Notably, the devices are rumoured to receive seven years of security updates and Pixel feature drops, ensuring they remain secure and up-to-date. Moreover, buyers may get free access to Google’s advanced AI model, Gemini Advanced, for one year.

The Pixel 9 series is set for global launch on August 13. Their India availability will be announced on August 14. Stay tuned for more details.
