State-run telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is ringing in the festive season with a special post-Diwali offer, providing attractive discounts and benefits to its customers. The telco has rolled out two exciting offers that are sure to appeal to budget-conscious mobile users.
From October 28 through November 7, 2024, BSNL’s Rs 1,999 annual prepaid plan is available at a reduced price of Rs 1,899, giving users a Rs 100 discount. This plan comes with 600GB of data and a full year (365 days) of service validity, along with unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day. The plan is ideal for those seeking long-term value while enjoying uninterrupted mobile services throughout the year.
For BSNL’s GP-II customers, a special voucher has been announced that offers unlimited voice calls and data, with speeds reduced after 30GB. This plan is priced at Rs 349 and comes with a 90-day validity. It’s a perfect choice for users who need high-volume data with long-term savings. The offer is available from October 28 to November 28, 2024, making it a great addition to BSNL’s festive season promotions.
BSNL to let users make calls without SIM card
These limited-time offers are a fantastic opportunity for BSNL customers to save money while enjoying enhanced mobile services. The telco has been on a redemption course lately taking the recently concluded India Mobile Congress (IMC) to announce a new logo and as many as seven services including one that would eventually allow users to make calls and send messages without a SIM card or network connection.
The “Direct to Device” service is a potential competitor to Elon Musk’s Starlink. This groundbreaking service uses satellite connectivity and has been successfully tested in collaboration with Viasat. It’s expected to offer emergency connectivity in remote or network-deprived areas. Details about a broader launch haven’t been revealed yet.
